Lead Designer – Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer – Owner

Vawn grew up focused with the understanding that her life’s work would involve Interior Design. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), 4-year degree in Interior Design from Iowa State University in 1991. For much of her career, Vawn has enjoyed specializing in cabinetry. While thriving on kitchen and bath design, she is a CMKBD (Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer) and CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist). Vawn has been published numerous times throughout the years in local and national publications, as well as designed several award winning designs in the Seattle area. In 2008, after many successful years in the cabinet/design industry, she launched her own business, Collaborative Interiors.

For years, Vawn has been involved collaborating within the National Kitchen & Bath Association. She’s held multiple volunteer positions, including NKBA Puget Sound Chapter President, active in several organizations within the local building / design industry, and was a founding member of the Washington Professionals Protecting Design Freedom.

Vawn is a nature and animal lover. As an outdoor enthusiast, in her spare time you will find her either in the mountains, on the water or in the air -- rain, snow or shine.
